Program

A parent or grandparent can apply for Super Visa in two ways, an online application or a paper application. If you apply through a paper application, you also have to send in all the required documents with your application as well.

Documents proving that the person you are visiting is a Canadian citizen or permanent resident. A letter of invitation from the person you are visiting, documents proving that your child or grandchild meets the financial requirements of LICO, and their private insurance proof.

The Letter of Invitation is a formal letter signed by the child or grandchild stating the intent of the invitation and giving assurance regarding taking care of their parent or grandparent. The letter is first sent to the invited person, and they have to forward this letter to their country's Canadian embassy.

In the letter of invitation, some specifics are significant to include, which are the complete name of the person inviting and the person being invited, the birth date of both parties, official addresses, phone numbers, intent and duration of visit, and photocopies of important documents.

As a citizen of an exempted country, you need a visa or an eTA (Electronic Travel Visa) to visit Canada. You must fulfill all the mandatory requirements for the Super Visa application. Our experts at WestWide can help you with their expertise and proper guidance.
